Absolutely loved the Full English breakfast – truly delightful! The charming host Andrew was quietly efficient and made my solo stay feel like a home-away-from-home. Plus, I stumbled upon local gems like The Pasta Shop and Maggie's Place nearby for some ace culinary finds!
The WiFi didn’t quite reach my top-floor room, and the bathroom light was a bit iffy, but honestly, I was too busy enjoying my bigger room upgrade to care. Everything else just sparkled!

My stay at Balmoral was delightful. The room was spacious and beautifully clean, featuring a comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. I particularly loved the Full English breakfast, cooked fresh each morning, and the quality of the coffee was exceptional. Andrew, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful, offering personalized recommendations for local attractions. The walk to the town center was lovely each morning. I did experience some minor WiFi connectivity issues. the signal was weak in my room, which made it difficult to work at times. this B&B offers a cozy atmosphere with attentive service that made me feel welcome.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, making it easy to settle in with our three young children. The breakfast was fantastic, and the location is perfect—it’s just a quick walk to parks where the kids could play.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great to have more kid-friendly amenities.

Had a lovely two-night stay with such comfy beds and fantastic freshly cooked pancakes each morning that set me up for the day. They’ve got a cozy lounge area and a nice garden to relax in, perfect for winding down after a busy day. The WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn’t take away from how great everything was overall! 😊
